Connecticut's Huskies high soaring national championship run

In this bizarre Final Four, where neither a number one or two seeded team remains, third seeded Connecticut is the favorite to win the national championship. Connecticut will rely heavily on Kemba Walker, arguably the best player reamining in the Final Four. Connecticut played their first Final Four opponent in the finals of the Maui Invitational and beat Kentucky by 17. Connecticut has won 12 straight games, dating back to the Big East tournament with five of those wins coming on five consecutive days.

The other two teams earned their spots in the Final Four even though it was unexpected. VCU had to play an extra game to even get into the NCAA Tournament, but has been victorious thus far. What VCU lacks is a star like Kemba Walker, a future pro player that is a clutch performer. Butler unexpectedly took down number one seeded-Pittsburgh and survived close games throughout the NCAA tournament. Butler has experience in the Final Four from last year but just like last year they are still consider underdogs. It was projected on March 13 that Butler only had a 1 in 2,506 chance to win the whole tournament.
